Not sure what it means to "continue". North Sails has never built a single windsurfer sail or kite ever. If the brand continues, the equipment will have nothing in common with any previous windsurfing or kiting kit bearing the North brand. The sensible money will wait and see what the products are actually like before buying them - which in this case means waiting until August 2019 for the first kite to be launched.

Yes North Sails will Continue with the windsurf division. The rumors was in Pozo during PWA event , very strong .

Yes North Sails will Continue with the windsurf division. The rumors was in Pozo during PWA event , very strong .

Well it's been some time since Pozo and still nothing from North! I can't see them investing what would be required to set up their own windsurfing division to compete with Duotone. They have no technology, no riders and they would need to develop masts, booms, extensions and not just sails. Time is also not on their side. Windsurfing isn't enough of a money spinner for that. 3DL windsurfing sails will never work. They are way too expensive.

Leur seule option est de donner la licence a un voilerie de windsurf. Ils ne vont pas avoir les mêmes conditions dans leur contrat qu'ils avaient avec B&M. La nouvelle voilerie doit se protéger contre les problèmes que B&M a eu avec Oakley Capital. En fin de compte, une voile Mauisails (par exemple) avec un sticker North reste quand même une voile Mauisails.

rumeurs infondées à mon avis. j'ai même entendu des trucs encore plus farfelus (démentis par les propres intéressés).
si quelque chose sort ça ne sera pas avant 2020

Mon shop local a eu le même son de cloche : il y aura des voiles siglées North Sails, mais alors va savoir d'où elles vont venir !
