Loftsails Purelip 2021 : The Purelip design provides pure wave performance and enormous wind range.

Born in 1999 as the Lipwave - and now with over 20 years of refinement - the present-day Purelip delivers balance, stability, and ease of use. Built for challenging conditions the Purelip is most suited to big hardcore surf, bump and jump blasting, onshore and sideshore waves.

Magazine test reports confirm we hit our design targets: upper-end stability, on-the-wave neutrality, speed, extreme trim reactivity, durability.

New 2021 luff curves, new 2021 vertical shapes and new 2021 leech outline all combine to improve Purelip performance.

Light and tough: Integrated Panel Concept, 3-layer head/tack/clew radials extend into the all X-Ply body – ultimate resistance in demanding conditions
Super durable full IYU250 4-part mast pocket – the perfect material between your mast and the elements
Double dacron head panels – easy roll-up, durability, longevity
Triple reinforced foot, leech and luff construction for maximised longevity of your rig
Sizes 3.7 and up feature 5 battens, 3.4 and smaller feature 4 battens

Loftsails Skyblade 2021 : Skyblade is a cutting-edge design for cutting-edge wind foil racing.

Skyblades combine enhanced stability with the powerful, pump-able Skyscape design package. The additional batten and cam shift these new sails to the upper-end performance level of competitive wind foiling. The firm Skyscape exhaust (leech twist) generates phenomenal upwind and downwind angles.

Totally new designs for 2021, a full year of research and development resulted in higher aspect ratios, redesigned vertical and horizontal shaping, and new exhaust tuning.

Large transparent foot panel for full competition visibility
Tekcam2 camber inducer design – easy rotation and gentle on your mast
Metallic cam interfaces MCIs eliminate contact point degradation characteristic of cam designs without MCIs
Tubed battens with varying carbon content. Top 3 specialized 100% carbon tubes – carbon tubes are lightweight and deliver superior stability for the upper end
X-ply batten pockets that alternate sail sides... using similar material for the batten pocket as the body material minimizes the asymmetric character of applied batten pockets. Pockets made with laminates allow the batten to be centered. These features combine to maintain rotation symmetry. In contrast, same-side dacron pockets promote asymmetrical rotation
Streamlined neoprene boom cutout with dual zippers limits water entry into the mast sleeve for fast recovery
Blade mast pocket construction – pocket sides under the tack pulley webbings for rotation ease, clean mast pocket and longevity
Kevlar strip applications – profile definition, mast pocket stability and longevity
Durable IYU250 4-part mast pocket – the perfect material between your mast and the elements
Trim: leech-release reference logo to dial in trim

Loftsails Racingblade 2021 : Slalom Unlimited.

The Racingblade is Loftsails’ dedicated slalom racing design. On the competition circuit since 2007, the design is developed with attention to
blistering acceleration and top speed.
Planchemag Racingblade 2020 verdict: “Very complete”

Efficient and stable profiles, a relatively free leech, and wide ultra-low drag mast pockets are designed into the Racingblade.

Wide mast pockets require firm tension for smooth airflow efficiency. The Racingblade mast pocket construction is unique: all 3 layers - the mast
panel and the two mast pocket sides - are tensioned by the tack pulley webbings.

This construction - first developed by Loftsails - equalizes mast panel and mast pocket loading. which is key to achieving the Racingblades’ firm,
clean, easy-rotating leading edge.
Totally redesigned for 2021 with high aspect ratios, new luff curves and horizontal shaping and redesiged leech exhaust tuning.

FEATURES & BENEFITS
• Blade mast pocket construction features mast panel and 2 mil triax X-Ply mast pocket sides (3 layers)
tensioned directly (all 3 layers under tack pulley webbings) – downhaul tension is equalized between the mast panel and the mast pocket resulting in the Racingblade’s firm, clean, easy-rotating leading edge
• Internal vertical and horizontal Kevlar strip applications at cams – defines profile and augments stability
• Tubed battens with varying carbon content. Top 3 specialized 100% carbon tubes – carbon tubes are
lightweight and deliver superior stability at the upper end
• Unique SDM and RDM mast compatibility. Tekcam2 Large (installed) and Reduced (in sail bag) included with size 8.6 and down
• Metallic cam interfaces – MCIs eliminate contact point degradation characteristic of cam designs without MCIs
• X-ply batten pockets that alternate sail sides - using similar material for the batten pocket as the body
material minimizes the asymmetric character of applied batten pockets. Pockets made with laminates allow the batten to be centered. These features combine to maintain rotation symmetry. In contrast, same-side
dacron pockets promote asymmetrical rotation
• Streamlined neoprene boom cutout with dual zippers – limits water entry into the mast sleeve, keeping the rig light for fast recoveries
• Tekcam2 camber inducer design – easy rotation and gentle to your mast
• Durable IYU250 4-part mast pocket – the perfect material between your mast and the elements
• 4 mil Dimension Polyant laminated monofilm upper body panels – proven superior performance
• Trim: leech-release reference logo to dial in trim

Sail Size : 5.0, 5.6, 6.2, 6.9, 7.7, 8.4, 9.2
