Severne France. Voile fétiche de Jaeger Stone KA120, la Severne Sails S-1 version 2020 évolue saison après saison. Développée sur une base identique à celle de laS-1 Pro, elle offre les mêmes performances dynamiques dans une construction plus accessible. Avec son interchangeabilité à 3 ou 4 lattes, la S-1 est une voile de vagues extrêmement polyvalente. Construite en matériaux eM3 de qualité et SpiderFibre, elle est équipée désormais de panneaux inférieures en eM4 pour toujours plus de solidité et de légèreté.

what makes you believe so? The graphics are identical to the 2020 hyperglide. It is very likely that that's what the mach 3 final version will look like, too.

Severne Mach3 2020 :

Building on the success of the Mach1,Mach2, the new Mach3 can deliver on all the standard race sail clichés – it IS faster, it IS lighter and it DOES have better acceleration.

Reduced batten count has dropped the weight. If it’s not the lightest race sail on the market next season it will be VERY close to it.
A major focus of this year’s R&D was on tuning the entry and exhaust. Finer leading edge rotation delivers that slippery feel, whilst the more open twist patterns reduce drag for devastating top speed.

With 7 battens in all sizes, the Mach3 inflates faster and reacts to gusts quicker for epic acceleration.

These 3 improvements elevate the Mach3 to the next level. Fast times.

Severne Overdrive M3 2020 :

The OverDrive focuses on maximum reaching speed with increased twist and less back-hand pressure. A lighter weight means improved handling characteristics.

A moderate width sleeve, 7 battens and 3 cams provide draft stability through a huge wind range. Combined with a higher aspect ratio, the OverDrive M3 has impeccable handling characteristics; a lightweight feel, with softer flex.

Smaller sizes (5.5 and down) have 6 battens to increase flex and control for when conditions get extreme.

The new OverDrive M3 benefits directly from advances made on the Mach3 development. Increased depth below the boom adds drive and stability whilst the mid and upper leech have been opened more to decrease drag. Flow aligned battens further improve aerodynamics. The resulting performance is explosive acceleration
and big numbers on the GPS.

The OverDrive M3 can be run on either RDM masts or SDM masts.
Key differences between the Mach 2 and OverDrive M2 are;
SLEEVE WIDTH: 33% narrower than Mach1 for lower weight and less water retention.
BOOM LENGTH: 10cm shorter on most sizes for less back-hand pressure.
WEIGHT: Lighter, softer feel
RDM COMPATIBLE: Compatible with both RDM and SDM masts
