Compte rendu de la journée:

Today, the forecast has been similar than yesterday with stronger gusts at the end of the day. With a wind between 25 and 30 knots average, the course has evolved with better conditions around 5pm, allowing Raffaello Gardelli, the Swedish windsurfer, to beat his Personal Best on his 3rd run with 47.02 kts (was 46.78 kts last year).
2 National Records have been beaten:
- We can celebrate a new Namibian record for Matthias Rottcher who has achieved an amazing 47.74 kts (was 47.51 kts)!
- Andrew Redfern did it again today, improving his Fijian record with 41.90 kts.
There is no doubt they can do better with the forecast predictions of the next few days.
Riders are fine tuning their gear for stronger winds for new performances like Bjorn Dunkerbeck who has achieved an impressive 48.96 kts in Windsurfing today and Sébastien Cattelan 50.72 kts in Kitesurfing.

Le compte rendu de la journée:

Today the conditions have been a bit better than yesterday but not as strong as predicted.
Wind has blown up to 35 knots for half an hour and riders who sailed during the right period have celebrated new Personal Bests and National Records:
- Raffaello Gardelli who has beaten his PB yesterday with 47.02 kts smashed it twice today on each run he made with 47.79 kts & 48.57 kts
- Erik Beale who was close to his PB yesterday broke it also twice today with 47.55 & 48.38 kts.
- Alberto Possati from Italy has also set a new Personal Best today with an impressive 47.11 kts (was 45.87 kts) – Alberto is now the number two in Italian speed windsurfing ranking
- Francesco d’Urso has achieved a new Italian record on Production board with 47.09 kts
- We are celebrating a new Namibian record for Matthias Rottcher who already broke it yesterday with 47.74 kts and is now on 48.91 kts!
Patrik Diethelm achieved the best speed of the day with 51.18 kts wich was his exact record from last year!
All in all a good performance day.
The forecast for the rest of this week shows ideal conditions and wind strength increasing day by day.

Le run est ouvert... vent 25/30 nds...les records perso vont tombés et + si l'angle est bon Lors de la journée où A2 explose le record plusieurs fois, le run avait été ouvert aussi à cette heure

La journée s annonce bien !!! premier run pour Eric Beale 47.55 nds Karin Jaggi à 44.17 nds va chercher son record

Enorme!!!! 48.38 nds pour Eric Beale et NR pour Francesco D'Urso avec 47.09 nds

Ca tombe aussi pour Raffaello Gardelli avec un 47.79 nds !!! 47.09nds hier

Les meilleurs rentrent en action 51.18 nds pour Patrick et 50.23 nds pour Farrel

Après une bonne pause car un vent en baisse et angle trop abattu...les conditions reviennent.
Raffaello Gardelli vient de faire un 48.57 nds ( best 47.79 nds tout à l'heure )
Alberto Possati vient de faire 47.11 nds ( best 45.87 nds )

Nouveau record pour Matthias Rottcher ( NAM-9 ) 48.91 nds ... Un style bien à lui mais une glisse de ouf !!!

Record personnel pour Alberto Possati avec un 47.11 nds et une vmax de 49.49 nds . Grosse joie d' avoir battu son record de 2013 ( 45.87 nds ) car l'année dernière il n'avait pu faire que 45 nds ... et je pense que c pas fini, vu les prevs !!!

Je suis étonné: j'ai lu qu'il y avait des rafales a 35 nœuds, et ils ont l'air d'avoir 5m. Ça me partait petit. J'imaginais qu'il fallait sortir a la rue pour faire de la vitesse.

Nouveau record perso pour Erik Beale avec 48.38 nds et une vmax à 50.53nds...Marilyn avait les cheveux au vent

Pour 2015, physique ok et matos ok...- Raffaello Gardelli flashé à 48.57 nds . PB sur PB, vmax de 51.58 nds ... 49 nds sans doute et les 50 si affinité.

Francesco D'Urso sera le 5 ème à avoir amélioré son PB aujourd'hui avec un 47.09 nœuds .
