Plus large qu'une Manta 69 à 46 mais encore bien loin des 49.7 de l'IS 107.
Devrait nous faire un bon compromis appui /glisse cette histoire.
Me laisserais bien tenter par un petit test, personne n'a ça encore dans la région

T'as raison j'avance pô sur ma 95 2009, un oignon!
Juste un peu ardent et physique blague à part. Les shapes se sont vraiment adoucis en 2011, 2012.? Le test planchemag notament de la 111 2011 était vraiment élogieux à ce sujet il me semble. Donc si c'est du même tonneau en 2012

hier j'ai testé pendant pres de 5h la falcon 99 et pendant 30 min la 89 le tout en 6.4 et un peu en 6.3 warp 2012

la 99 a été montée sur SL4 34 1 point, il est un poil trop souple, par contre le SL2 34 passait bien dessus

la planche est très stable, bien posée sur son Q, ca lève rarement mais ca glisse très bien

comparée à la RRD 2012 98, elle fait un poil plus grosse en sensations, mais les perfs sont identiques, au jibe près que j'ai préféré sur la RRD, il est plus doux, moins besoin d'engagement

la planche se contrôle très bien, et m'a d'ailleurs permis de me faire 1h au taquet à 23.xx noeuds de moyenne

Pierre était royal avec dans un 19/27 noeuds en 7 puis en 6.3

la 89 était par contre montée sur 34 aussi, condition PWA, mais putain, une glisse, un contrôle encore meilleure que la 99, et surtout une sensation de débouler avec ....
j'aurais le budget, je craquerais direct

bref c'est du très bon pour cette année

Faudrait voir ce qu'elle donne dans le clapot, souvent le côté technique des Falcon.

Fanatic Brand Manager Craig Gertenbach explains:
"Over the last few seasons, we have seen slalom growing from strength to strength, in both classic slalom racing, but also GPS sailing where in lighter winds slalom boards are used. However we have also seen a “gap” in between our smallest slalom board and the biggest/widest speed board. So a lot of speed sailors are looking for a slightly bigger board than our Falcon Speed 51(51cm wide) for gusty, inconsistent conditions with bigger sails. Whilst a lot of slalom sailors who are not limited to the PWA 3 board rule, are looking for a smaller board than the Falcon 89 (59cm wide), especially for using in high winds with smaller sails. So we asked our Slalom R&D Manager and top World Cup sailor, Peter Volwater, to work with our Dutch speed expert, Peter de Wit, to find a board that could work for both worlds. During the intensive R&D phase, Peter&Peter and Fanatic shaper Sebastian Wenzel, found the perfect combination of control, speed, lift and power, to work with a big variety of sail sizes and water conditions. At 56cm wide, the Falcon 79 is the perfect high wind slalom machine, whilst at the same time the solution for all speed/GPS sailors, looking for that “missing link” for less than perfect days to hit incredible top end speeds. After seeing the incredible top end speeds this board reached in the R&D phase, we are more than excited to see what our team can do with it now! Available beginning of April 2012”

pour avoir testé la 89, je peux vous garantir qu'elle fait déjà office de gun de light, mais si la 79 est dans la même trempe, ce serait simplement une arme redoutable de run de speed dès 25 noeuds
