A stronger connection with less stress on the mast.
The new longer cup gripping the mast dilutes the stress on to the mast structure, increasing the stability of the connection. This will also assure that the head will not to slip down the mast even with very little rope tension.

tu parles de mauvaise qualité de fabrication de tes P7 ACZ et tu joins des photos qui attestent effectivement qu'au niveau des mini lattes c'est pas bien collé.
Es-ce qu'il y a d'autres problèmes à d'autres niveaux ?
Que dit ton shop sur ce sujet ?
