For 2014 we have continued to fine tune and perfect the designs size by size, ensuring optimum performance throughout the range.
Construction refinements, including strategic trimming of patches, reduction of seams and increased use of our custom,
light weight gradient X-ply has given the 2014 sails an even lighter, crisper feel.
Added sleeve print graphics, together with new bright colour combos make the Legend a standout in both performance and appearance.

MauiSails Mutant 2014, 4-Battens ultra-low aspect ratio Wave :

The Mutant is our most progressive wave sail. It destroys convention, combining insane maneuverability and light handling with great power and wind range.

The ultra-low aspect four-batten outline, together with our exclusive shaping techniques, gives the sail true ability to be used a size smaller and the balance to stay light and in control on the top end. MauiSails Loco Pro 2014, Freestyle / Bump'n'Jump :

The LocoPro has undergone its greatest evolution in years, transforming to a four- batten structure in sizes from 4.0 to 5.6.

Developed in close testing with feedback from Taty Frans, for 2014 we present the all new “Loco Pro” model.
Having gained some shaping insight from the Mutant sail range, and applying that to a classic higher aspect ratio freestyle outline, the Loco is now
optimized for new school freestyle maneuvers. The first thing that you will notice on the Loco Pro is the incredibly light and crisp feel that begs you to innovate and try new tricks.
Instant power will accelerate and pop you from one maneuver to the next. The Loco pro owns a legacy of the design features that other freestyle sails imitate and has set the benchmark even higher for 2014.

MauiSails Switch 2014, Bump’N’Jump / freeride :

The Switch is great as a fast bump and jump performer.

Whether racing your buddies, hucking huge airs or practicing some mellow freestyle the Switch will suit you well.
Excellent stability derived from a six batten layout, tube/rods and a soft, racy leech will make you happy blasting along with lots of power.
For 2014 increased film use in the mid sail body, together with light weight gradient X-ply in the leech helps to reduce weight and give the sail a livelier feel.

We are working on a brand new, high performance RAF freeride slalom sail, that has been tested by Micah. It will replace the Pursuit and is a new design that borrows much from out TR race sail development including a lower aspect ratio and recessed clew. We are also tuning up the luff curves on the Titan-GS for increased range. We will be working on getting some pics and a presentation together over this next month.
