Je pense que ce n'est que le début!
Il a de l'expérience le monsieur et surtout il n'a plus la pression marketing de la marque! Il est libre de ses faits et gestes, avec son savoir faire, il devrait nous sortir de VRAI innovations....

n'empêche pour ceux qui se tâtent sur les réglages sont dans la merde :
- je mets combien de "spacers" sous mes pads : 1, 2, 3 ou aucun ?
- je rajoute la sur-épaisseur ?
- et mince mon strapp, je le pose ou (il y a 5 position plus ou moins excentrées) ?
Et a chaque fois faut y aller du tourne vis (insert métallique ou en plastique qui s'use) ?
en tout cas bravo pour explorer de nouveaux horizons !

Ben mon cochon, si faut un DESS en mecanique et dynamique des fluides avant d'enquiler ses straps... On est mal barré. Après pour une pratique lambda "éclairée" tout de même, ça suppose d'avoir du temps pour pouvoir bien exploiter toutes les nuances du truc... Trop compliqué pour moi cette affaire...

Custom Heel Plates - not permitted !
As a result of a request to ISAF for a "class rule interpretation" - we have been advised that the use of heel plates may not comply with our class rules.
Heel plates are a device that when applied to positions for footstraps (using same inserts) enable the rider to position themselves above the normal hull deck and even further outside (off board) the normal sailing position. Only boards that come supplied with heel plates - ie as a standard option, and part of the hull design, as registered with ISAF - will be deemed class legal.
The use of custom heel plates is rare, and therefore the implications of this ruling are minor; but if you are in any doubt concerning this rule clarification please contact: fw@internationalwindsurfing.com

Sorry that I cannot write in French...The deck plates of the PD Formula seem to be a good innovations, but I was wondering if they would actually interfere with the water flow when the board is planning. When the board is tilted to the leeward side, the deck would actually slow the board down. Or are they located too high in the board rail for this to happen?
