KA Koncept 2012 :
Koncept for 2012 has taken a big step from the last past years. With a more low aspect outline you will feel a more balanced sail. This means no tendency to over sheet the sails as a constant but yet very refined power dynamic is built into the sails. All the loved features the Koncept is known for like simple 3 camber set up, slightly narrower sleeve, 7 batten layout, light and easy feeling has all been kept intact. But you will at ones recognize the added acceleration and better performance for tighter sailing angles, without scarifying the all-important downwind speed performance. • This legendary Speed/Slalom sail is now better than ever. • Noticeable change to the plan form with the sail becoming more compact. • More sail area down in the “power zone” improves both bottom end power and acceleration. • Slightly less sail area in the head reduces drag. • Slightly longer boom lengths provide more backhand feel, especially in the smaller sizes. This reduces the risk of oversheeting and stalling. • Some overall weight reduction and reduced swing weight has been achieved through material selection.
