Le Toro Tail de la RRD X-Fire V4 LTD 2012 :

Le TT Tail (Toro Tail) pour les 114, 122 et 129 :
• TT Tail creates unrivalled control and stability, simply an amazing feeling on the water.
• TT Tail cleverly releases the wetted surface area drag underneath the back foot.
• TT Tail makes these new boards machines accelerating away from the gybe mark.
• Increased wind range on all boards, especially the TT models.

• Revised cut-out designs for all boards (98, 105, 114, 122 & 129), giving increased controllable lift with better acceleration.

2010 X-FIRE 102 LTD V2 :
A clear improvement over the 09 shape has been achieved with this new design. A rocket! No compromise top-end speed in winds ranging from 18-30 knots and sail sizes 6.0 until 7.8. We have put small cut-outs in the 102 which has increased the light wind performance significantly with more lift and less drag, but at the same time the control and stability when powered has also been improved with a slightly increased vee and cleaner scoop-rocker. This board was the one of the top performing prototypes during the R&D process, a real race winner.

2011 X-FIRE 102 LTD V3 :
Fully tested and improved cut-out sizing combined with the new construction and weight (like all of the boards in the range), this medium wind thoroughbred will be even faster in 2011. The basic shape remains the same due to excellent customer satisfaction ratings, but the upgrades have improved the lower wind performance significantly resulting in extended range and top-end speed. This excellent and well-liked shape is now at the next level, trying on the water = believing.

2012 X-FIRE 105 LTD V4 :
A very popular size for lighter sailors. During testing this all new V.4 shape completely destroyed the older V.3 version in every aspect and in all conditions. There was no comparison! This new board is more stable yet faster. A few more litres of volume has increased the wind-range over its’ predecessor whilst not sacrificing the high-wind performance. We worked very hard to produce a more comfortable rail shape on all models and it works extremely well. A perfect choice for those who sail in 20-30 knots regularly or for lighter sailors who are looking for the perfect 105 litre solution.

L'année prochaine RRD nous sort la Slalom 65cm parfaite

RRD Fire MKII 2012 : “Efficiency and performance”

A new introduction in the RRD sail program. A very demanded sail from RRD ”aficionados” willing to get some more power and speed when riding on fast boards. A great, powerful and stable sail that will allow you to use its lift in a very efficient way. Progressively increasing speed and instant accelerations after the jibes and tacks. A really tough contender to the most advanced camber induced sails.
